Tyler Ray Competes in IRONMAN Triathlon and Raises Funds for Breast Cancer Cause

TylerRay-Triathlon Tyler Ray raised close to $6,000 in donations for the Susan G. Komen Foundation For the Cure while he trained and competed in the IRONMAN Triathlon in Lake Placid, New York on July 28, 2013.  D&S  employees donated over $1,000 – including donations from 100% of the D&S attorneys – and the firm matched 50% of the employee contributions.  Donations were distributed through the IRONMAN Foundation which has made philanthropic contributions of nearly ten million dollars to numerous non-profit beneficiaries across the globe since 2003.  The IRONMAN triathlon includes a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride, and finishes with a marathon (26.2 miles). It is regarded as the most challenging endurance event in the world. Tyler finished the race in an official time of 12 hours and 24 minutes and 41 seconds.
