Four Attorneys Receive Lawyer-of-Year Recognition

Congratulations to our four (4) attorneys named 2019 Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers for the Providence metro region, and two (2) additional attorneys recognized by Best Lawyers.

Bob Duffy was recognized as Lawyer of the Year for the category of Intellectual Property Litigation. He was also included as a Best Lawyer for the areas of Commercial Litigation, M&A Litigation and Securities Litigation.

Mike Sweeney was recognized as Lawyer of the Year for Corporate Law, and also as a Best Lawyer for the areas of Business Organizations and Closely Held Companies/Family Business Law.

Stacey Nakasian was recognized as Lawyer of the Year for Trusts & Estates Litigation, and she was also included as a Best Lawyer in the areas of Commercial Litigation and IP Litigation.

Patrick Guida was recognized as Lawyer of the Year for Banking & Finance Law and also included as a Best Lawyer for Commercial Finance Law.

Roger Hood and Jean Harrington were recognized by Best Lawyers as well. Jean was included in four categories: Closely Held Companies/Family Business Law, Corporate Law, M&A Law, and Securities/Capital Markets Law. Roger Hood earned a Best Lawyer spot in Copyright Law and Trademark Law.

Only one individual lawyer with the highest overall peer-feedback for a specific practice area and geographic region is recognized as Lawyer of the Year.
