Amy Oakley Joins Board of Skills for Rhode Island's Future

D&S partner Amy Oakley has recently joined the board of directors of Skills for Rhode Island’s Future and will serve as the corporate secretary. The organization is a nonprofit public-private partnership working to match businesses that have current, unmet hiring needs with qualified, unemployed and underemployed job seekers.

Skills for Rhode Island’s Future is modeled after Skills for Chicagoland’s Future, a successful demand-driven intermediary based in Chicago. Skills  RI has been launched with support from the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training and in partnership with the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce.
