Tyler Ray raised close to $6,000 in donations for the Susan G. Komen Foundation For the Cure while he trained and competed in the IRONMAN Triathlon in Lake Placid, New York on July 28, 2013. D&S employees donated over $1,000 – including donations from 100% of the D&S attorneys – and the firm matched 50% of the employee contributions. Donations were distributed through the IRONMAN Foundation which has made philanthropic contributions of nearly ten million dollars to numerous non-profit beneficiaries across the globe since 2003. The IRONMAN triathlon includes a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride, and finishes with a marathon (26.2 miles). It is regarded as the most challenging endurance event in the world.
