At this general session of the one-day Employment Law & HR Practices Conference sponsored by the Employers Association of the Northeast, Roger Hood presented an analysis of key legal, technology and HR issues relating to the collection, storage and destruction of information. He also covered: deciding how intensely to restrict, monitor and scrutinize employees, applicants and litigants both inside and out¬side the workplace’s physical and virtual wall; employers’ rights to limit and act on employees’ personal social-networking postings; and statutory prohibitions on forced disclosure of personal logins/passwords, discoverability of social media.
