D&S attorneys and professional staff shared their gift-wrapping skills just in time for the holidays at the December pizza and wrapping party for children in need.

In the spirit of the season, Duffy & Sweeney again adopted two families from the Woonsocket Adopt-A-Family program, fulfilling the wish lists of children, ages 2 to 12 years old.

Adopt-A-Family, Inc. was started by a group of volunteers  to anonymously match people in the community (donors) with families in Woonsocket (recipients) who are struggling financially.

The donors provide each child’s entire Christmas, based on the  wish lists provided by the parents. Donors then shop for the specific items, including toys, outerwear, sports equipment and more.

The attorneys and staff at Duffy & Sweeney are deeply committed to both civic and charitable activities where they work and live. Duffy & Sweeney’s GIVING BACK initiative runs throughout the year.
