D&S attorneys and professional staff honed their gift-wrapping skills just in time for the holidays at the December 6th pizza and wrapping party for four children in need.
In the spirit of the season, Duffy & Sweeney again adopted two families from the Woonsocket Adopt-A-Family program, fulfilling the wish lists of children, ages 2 to 11 years old.
Adopt-A-Family, Inc. was started by a group of volunteers to anonymously match people in the community (donors) with families in Woonsocket (recipients) who are struggling financially.
The donors provide each child’s entire Christmas, based on the wish lists provided by the parents. Donors then shop for the specific items, including toys, outerwear, sports equipment and more.
