D&S partner Jean Harrington spoke at the Rhode Island Bar Association program entitled Organizing a Rhode Island Business on December 10th. This practical skills seminar is a cornerstone of the CLE offerings and often a sell-out. The program addressed choosing a business entity, completing the required forms and filings and other essential elements. Attendees reviewed the differences between sole proprietorships, general and limited partnerships, corporations and limited liability partnerships.
