Jonathan Cardosi is part of the litigation team where he handles a broad range of commercial litigation matters. He has represented clients in construction litigation including multi-million dollar projects involving mechanic’s liens, professional negligence disputes, breach of contract claims, and other challenges. He has advised clients on environmental compliance issues associated with state regulations and has assisted a client in an EPA administrative enforcement action.
He frequently works with firm clients in employment-related disputes that range from discrimination and wage-and-hour claims to healthcare and privacy compliance issues. He has been part of the D&S teams handling complex insurance coverage matters, shareholder disputes, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementations.
Jonathan is a magna cum laude graduate of Boston College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his law degree from Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. While at Tulane, Jonathan was the Senior Business Editor and a Managing Editor for the Tulane Environmental Law Journal.
• Represented a contractor in a complex construction litigation matter in Massachusetts Superior Court involving a multi-million dollar change order dispute with a nationally-recognized construction management firm. Following extensive discovery, the matter resolved favorably for the client before trial.
• Represented a contractor pursuing claims in Federal Court under the Miller Act for contested change orders and delay damages arising out of the energy-efficiency improvements at the Newport Naval Station. Following extensive discovery, the matter resolved favorably for the client before trial.
